7 March 2010. Ekaterina Kalinina was introduced to the South African Olympic fraternity by Sascoc president Gideon Sam today. He reiterated that he requested her to return during the second half of the year in order to assist South African gymnastics to prepare a team for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She also met 1996 Atlanta Olympic silver medalist in the 800 m, Hezekiel Sepeng at the event.
