The lack of international competition was visible when Matome Thishonga and Natalie Friesling took the fllor at the 22nd Acro gymnastics world championships in Wroclaw, poland, today.

The crowd clarly loved the only black gymnasts taking part in the event, but crowd support alone is not enough.

“The two are very alented, but they need to take part in international competition in oder for the judges to get to know them,” Vasili Litienov of Russia said.
